Mission
Our mission is to (1) model Christ and reflect the love and mercy of God and (2) be a space of light within the community, where young people can be guided and educated.
Our desire is to model Christ in every place and situation, so that the workers of our center, can share with the youth and clients, the love and mercy of God. We want to be a beacon of light within the community where there is so much darkness. Our focus is to be a safe place for young people to gather, escape their troubles, to play, and be mentored and encouraged while creating jobs and opportunity for the future.
Vision
The vision is to create more centers in other low-income communities in Costa Rica, to have both a social and economic impact on future generations. Our dream is that more and more young people and families would be exposed to the gospel of Christ through daily example and living His word.
El Aposento Alto is a ministry working as a business. One goal of the ministry is that the business will help pay for itself and to off-set the costs of ministry. As the center is in a very poor community, the current income is not enough to cover the expenses of operation and ministry. We are looking for partners who believe in this ministry and the work that we are doing in this community and the possibility of expansion to other areas of Costa Rica.
Goals
We desire to be a sustainable business that supports itself. Doing Ministry as Business.
We will be reinvesting any money back into the ministry, and hope to be operating indepeendantly in 3 years.
With your initial support, partnership, prayers, and donations, you can be a part of giving El Aposento Alto a stable foundation for the future.
